The Band TBD’s humble origins began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Interfraternity Council Battle of the Bands in 2023. After a victorious set, the group, founded by 7 Sigma Nu fraternity brothers, set its eyes on scaling, playing their first official gig in September of 2023. TBD went on to play over 30 gigs in Chapel Hill, NC and Raleigh, NC over the course of the 2023-2024 school year. Playing performances at bars and parties, the band received a great response from those who saw them play. TBD finished off this year with its original single Shot in the Dark, which is available on all music platforms. After the graduation of singer Robbie Donnelly (filled in by Sadie Donnelly) and drummer Mason Lennon (filled by Carson Vitt), the band has big plans for its second year of action.
The group consists of Sadie Donnelly (vocals), Grant Garey (guitar), Scott Dyett (guitar), Joe Shanahan (bass and harmonica), Will Ballenger (keys), and Carson Vitt (drums). Ex-members: Robbie Donnelly (vocals), Nico Naar (guitar), and Mason Lennon (drums).
